Photography is a hugely popular hobby and career and here at Abraxas we also run Photography courses that are suitable for complete beginners right through to more advanced levels.
What makes our courses unique is that they are not just run by a working professional photographer but also a qualified and experienced lecturer so student's get the best of both worlds.
Branded under the name Bedfordshire School Of Photography the school was started by our Kam Assi who is also the owner here at Abraxas, four years ago and the classes have gone from strength to strength.
There is an art to teaching, a lot of photographers run courses and workshops but they aren't qualified or experienced teachers and that makes a huge difference to the way students learn.
Everyone over the age of 16 can enrol on the courses and under 16's are welcome with parental support and approval. It doesn't matter what the ability of each student as some have enrolled without knowing how to put the battery in their camera, right through to students who have been taking photos for many years.
Age is no barrier, the school has many retired people as well as people who are just over 16, so it really is all inclusive. Students with learning difficulties are also welcome and catered for as there is ample one to one support for all abilities.
