The Barns Hotel in Bedford hosted Sandra and Kyle's wedding last weekend which we had the pleasure of shooting.
The weather forecast predicted 30% chance rain for the afternoon so we were keeping a close eye on the clouds and with the help of Alec at the hotel we had a contingency plan for photos if the rain did come down. As the bride and groom came out of the ceremony there was some light drizzle but also blue sky all around us, we held them back for a couple of minutes and fortunately the sun came out and shone for the rest of the afternoon, it was perfect. The Barn was once again beautifully dressed by Jo and her team at Stardust Events as the image shows.
The couple were lovely to work with, very easy going which made our job so easy and ensured everything was kept on time. No bride and groom like to spend the whole afternoon having photos taken so our aim is to get through any formal photos as quickly as possible to allow the couple to enjoy drinks and canapes with their guests. As usual the team at The Barns were really cooperative, anything we needed to help the bride and groom have a great day was always possible.
